I don’t believe clients should be in therapy forever. I endeavor to understand you, your goals and needs quickly so we can utilize your therapeutic time most efficiently.
I typically meet with clients for approximately 12 sessions, but that number fluctuates based on needs and circumstances.

Use your health saving account (HSA) or flexible spending account (FSA)
Using pre-tax money you’ve already set aside for health expenses is a fantastic option to cover the cost of mental health services.
Talk to your community religious leader
In many cases, community religious leaders (LDS Bishops, Pastors, etc.) will pay for a number of sessions. This will depend on the presenting problem and your particular situation.
Use your out-of-network insurance options
Depending on your plan, your insurance company may reimburse some of your out-of-pocket therapy expenses. I can provide you with a superbill (like an itemized receipt) to submit for reimbursement. You can ask your insurance company some of these questions to learn more about your coverage.
1. What amount do you cover for psychotherapy for out of network providers?
2. Do I need a referral from my primary care doctor?
3. What is my deductible and have I met it? How does that impact out of network reimbursement?
4. What are my routine behavioral health care benefits?
5. What credentials must my therapist have for me to receive reimbursement? (My therapist is an LMFT).
